Hey there! Welcome to the blog. I hope you found what you are looking for. This is a fun space to learn more about me, my work, and the incredible people I've had the opportunity to work with. I love this journey that I am on and invite you to join me for the adventure of a lifetime!
Lexie, you are truly one of the most stunning brides I’ve ever seen. I am honored to have been given the gift of getting to capture these images for you.
Hi friends! It’s been a while, but I’m back on the blog. I couldn’t think of a better reason to hop back on here than to share these bridals with you. These are the first bridals I have had the opportunity to take and I could not be more excited about how they turned out. 98% of the credit to Lexie for being so incredibly photogenic and picking a gorgeous dress!
A fun little back story for you. Lexie and I met through serving on Impact’s Media team our sophomore year at Texas A&M. I was a photographer and she was a graphic designer. I truly met my best friends serving on this team and Lexie was one of them (literally praise God from whom all blessings flow). We were friends throughout the year and would talk at our weekly meetings, but it wasn’t until we spent two weeks together at retreat that we really clicked. We stayed up way too late, talked intensely about what I was reading in 1 John, and laughed until our stomachs hurt.
Lexie spent the following semester abroad in Italy, but that did not stop us from keeping in touch. We would talk weekly over FaceTime, usually as I was getting ready for class and she was eating dinner (time zones are wild). We would go on to visit her grandma’s house in Estes Park with some more of our media friends and create my absolute favorite college memories in those mountains.
Soon after Lexie returns from Italy, she meets a boy. This boy just so happens to be Cole Foster. Cole and I quickly became friends when we finally had the opportunity to meet. He was funny, kind, and joyful. He loved the Lord and was SMITTEN about Lexie. Win win scenario for this over-protective mama bear friend. It was no surprise to any of us that Cole and Lexie would quickly be engaged. Cole and I, along with Lexie’s siblings, started scheming for a beautiful place for him to propose. We chose the Rose Emporium to represent Lexie’s love for all things floral.
We took Lexie’s bridals at their wedding venue – The Weinberg at Wixon Valley. It was absolutely stunning. My deepest desire was to make sure the colors really popped because Lexie so intentionally chose them for this special day. I wanted Lexie to feel natural, comfortable, and positively radiant. The morning of the session the skies were dark and it was actively thunder storming. The Lord answered our prayers because we could not have asked for better weather. A huge thank you to our other best friend Melinda for being our veil fluffer! Her sister and mom joined us for the fun, too!
Lexie, thank you for trusting me with these images. I am so proud of the woman you are and expectant of the wonderful wife you will be to Cole. I love you lots my sweet friend. Cole, I cannot believe you are finally my bestie-in-law! I’ll forever be the biggest fan of the Fosters!
