Hey there! I'm Brooke. I'm really happy you're here.
My faith in Jesus is the foundation of who I am and why I do what I do. My favorite things include going to livestock shows with my family, goofing around with my friends, collecting & reading as many books as I can, curating playlists for every possible scenario, drinking a strong dark roast, and going on adventures!
I am a storyteller. I love captivating an audience and evoking an emotional response based on how I choose to tell the story. A photo can capture light within 1/200 of a second with the ability to tell a thousand stories based on the angle and subject you choose. HOW! COOL! IS! THAT! As a storyteller, a photo is my favorite medium to use. While I like to think I am a talented storyteller, I’ll never forget that the best storyteller is the God who spoke creation into existence and wrote my story.
I am a creator. I love the feeling of turning nothing into something meaningful. However, I could never attempt to create anything in comparison to the creator of the universe. I love that I can use photography to capture all aspects of God’s creation. We can see the Lord all around us if we just open our eyes. He is in the radiance of every sunset, the stillness of nature, and the beauty of every person made in His image. I seek to utilize the gifts and passions the Lord has given me to create content that glorifies Him and His kingdom.
After picking up my first camera, there was no turning back. I had a new hobby that was not just another temporary desire, but a passion that would only intensify with time, care, and determination. I am in love with the craft, with the technicalities, the opportunity for creativity, and the beauty of the ability to capture God’s creation.
I have officially been a photographer since March of 2021, but I have been around the craft for much longer. My mom has been a photographer for almost 15 years now (check out her work here) and it is really beneficial to have experience on both sides of the camera. (I used to be a top notch model!)
Being raised a Red Raider, I never imagined I would find myself in Aggieland as a student. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Agricultural Communications and Journalism with a double major in Animal Science.
During my time as a student, you could find me standing at every football game, attending midnight yell, putting pennies on Sullly, and playing 42 at the chicken. There is truly no place like Aggieland.
